Europcar is recharging its energy
The range depends on the type of electric vehicle you’re driving, where you’re driving it, and the mode used. For example, in eco mode, your range can be 350 km in the city and 280 km on the highway.
We provide both public and home charging cables, as well as a free charging card usable at 450,000 locations across Europe. Charging options include home chargers, public charging stations, and fast chargers.
Using a home charger gives you about 100 km of range in seven hours, compared to two hours for public charging stations and just 15 minutes for fast chargers. For home charging, we recommend setting it to 10A unless you have a specific EV socket, like a Green Up, which can handle a 16A charge. Avoid using other high-power devices on the same circuit to prevent tripping a fuse.
Charging is quite simple. Open the flap of your electric vehicle, remove the plug cover, and connect it. At home, plug into the wall socket first, then connect to the vehicle. At highway stations, the cable is fixed to the post. Use your free card to start and stop the charge. The cable locks during charging for added safety.
Drive greener with Europcar and enjoy the convenience of an extensive charging infrastructure across Europe
